For years I have been photographing squills, a plant that flowers at this time of the year and has become one of the symbols of the Rosh Hashana (New Year) holiday. Last year I decided to make a change and shoot pomegranates instead - and received a round of boos from my family. So back to the squill for this year's card, but it's getting harder to find a new composition.

Shot with the Sigma 24 mm. f1.8 on the 40D.
A happy New Year to all.

A happy New Year to all.

Not even a Greek, Jewish, Chinese or Japanese New Year this time of the year ;)

Nice shoot, and happy coming New Year for you, too.
