Thanks for the positive feedback...

To my PNW colleagues, I apologize for not issuing a "heads up" but this trip came out of the blue, was laid on pretty quickly, had many informational gaps (it really was pretty much "get up here and then we'll figure out what we're doing...") and turned out to be two very full days.

There's lots I didn't get to see and I hope to come back up that way in the future.

I have to give all you Seattle-area guys/gals a ton of credit for generating the image you do in some of the most atrocious conditions I know I've ever faced. Thank God for 1-series bodies, L glass and weather sealing!

Great stuff, I love seeing all those Boeing jets in the background. Our new neighbor is a Boeing employee from Washington and will be working at the new Dreamliner assembly facility here in SC and I hope to be able to go shoot some photos soon. Well done Jay.

The big secret is we only shoot for the 3 months of summer and slowly dole them out over the rest of the year!

...3 months of summer...

A bit optimistic, isn't that? :p

Man, that's great! Glad you had the opportunity to be there for that historic event. As always, your images are outstanding!

A bit optimistic, isn't that? :p

Well...since the rest of the 9 months are considered winter and we don't really have a spring or a fall, that leaves 3 months for something that resembles summer. Usually July, August and September. This year however...not so good.
