My Pet Chipmunk

Ok, so he's not *really* my pet, but I do like him an awful lot! Most people consider these guys pests, but I personally love them! We have up to 10 chipmunks in our yard at any given time including one who actually made himself a nice little den in our tomato plant box. This little guy (or gal) is starting to get more comfortable with me being outside so I've been getting some good photo opportunities. Here are some photos that I got a couple of nights ago. It was near dusk so they came out a bit darker than I like, but I still consider them keepers. I hope you like them.

Chipmunks have always been one of my favorite critters.
I love the way they run with their tails sticking up.

footdoc66, I did notice the little nick in his ear, but haven't called him nick. I just call him chippie. Yes, I know... very original! :) I will use the marking to tell him apart from the others though.
