580exII + CP-E3 + eneloops

How many pops do you get from 8 x freshly charged eneloops in the CP-E3 when using a 580exII speedlight on average power output? Of course, there will be freshly charged accu's inside the 580exII as well. Thanks :)

You have the option to use the in-flash batteries to combine with the external 8 or to use the internal ones only to operate the flash (they don't participate in flashing)
I run them separately, and get hundreds - never really counted them but at a typical wedding, they don't get replaced
