Oct 01, 2011 10:07 | #4 ok, I was going to say go for less DOF...maybe the same shot with the 85 1.8 would have produced more bokeh. With the impending forum closure, please consider joining the unofficial adjunct to the POTN forum, The POTN Forum Facebook Group

Titus213 Cream of the Crop More info | Oct 01, 2011 10:15 | #6 Well trained, good looking dog. You've handled the DOF very nicely as the image appears sharp through the face and your total DOF was only about 2.5 inches. The background is a bit busy but it's a pleasing image. Dave

Just a couple of trees and a nice building in the background. It's an all around nice home feel setting. Canon 7D -Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC- -Canon 28mm F2.8- -Canon 50mm F1.8-

bob_r Goldmember More info | Oct 02, 2011 21:42 | #13 I like the shot, but the trees have produced a very busy and distracting background. Since you have Image Editing allowed, I edited the shot and cropped out the trees. What do you think of the result?
