18 shot (6x3) blended panorama

16-35II, 5d2, 6 shots x3 exposures each, blended, ptgui used to create panorama. 29mm. final image is 60Mp with a lot of detail. Sorry for the large size, but really hard to appreciate it in smaller size, as are most panoramas.

Very nice! I like it more than the first one from yesterday. I thought it had a little too much sky on top. Definitely works better in the wider format.
So, just out of curiosity, did you stitch three separate pano's, one for each exposure level, and then blend them? Or did you blend each frame, and then stitch? I've always wondered the best way to do it. I'm assuming the first method, otherwise you have to make sure your blending settings match exactly on each frame.

Paul, thanks. I actually did the second method, though the first would have made more sense. I did shoot these in AV mode, bracketed, so the exposures (even middle one) was fairly different looking in to the sun compared to the shore. PTGUI does an amazing job with the panorama, adjusting the exposures as needed.
