600D / 1100D scene modes raw question

Hi, just a quick question, Does anyone know if (like on my old 50D) you can shoot raw when using any of the scene modes (sports etc.) with the 600D or 1100D?
My wife wants a new, smaller/lighter camera to replace my old 20D she is currently using for taking pictures of her horses at shows etc. when I can't attend.

She isn't a photographer as such and loves the relative simplicity of the scene modes and in general gets very good results, but she can't shoot raw on the 20D in these modes.

This way I can get to recover some of her 'iffy' shots (mainly WB) a bit easier! :-)

(I believe these are named the T3i and T3 in the US)

Thanks for any help.

I only have the 1100D (T3). But RAW is selected n the basic "MENU" and once selected it is the form which the camera uses for all photographs taken. I have shot some in RAW and used M, Av and Sports modes and all photographs were captured in the RAW format.

Hope that helps.

That's good news, I therefore assume the 600D is the same, seeing as it's a more expensive model - thanks for the reply Hillbille :-)

The 7d doesn't have any scene modes, like sports.

Quite correct  - Wrong camera!

Meant to say my old 50D could shoot raw in these modes.
