Windows 8 Anyone get Canon utilities like DPP to work?

I installed Windows 8 developer preview x64 on a spare HDD for my laptop.
I've tried the hacks I've found online about modifying ini files during the install to add the OS, but have been unsuccessful so far.

Has anyone successfully beat Canon's OS detection during the install process to get DPP to work on Win 8?
