I'm looking for what all my options & choices for strips banks to use with speed lights are? Cost not too much of an option, I will pay a little extra if it is made high quality and easy to use.

I purchased this one from Lastolite, is really great, but I hated putting it together for use. Was simple, but very very time consuming. Is there something similiar I can buy which goes together faster?

Thanks everyone in advance, I appreciate your help as always.

Are you looking for something like Saberstrips? I'm on my phone but if you Google it you'll find the product page.

Thanks for the link, I appreciate it, but I am looking for a more conventional softbox type, just in strip dimensions instead of a square, around 1ft x 3ft more or less in size. With a fabric face

Funny, I've been looking for the same, but I'm beginning to think they are very hard to source, unless you buy those designed for strobes and use them with an appropriate adapter. I think the PCB ones are supposed to be easy to set up though.

Our single or DBL speedlight bracket pairs with our softbox ring can be used with any rod type strip, octa,or rectangle box. With our Eli adapter you can use any Elinchrom softbox with the system as well.

Wow, that seems like it could be a very nice system for me, especially if I ever buy strobes in the future, I would not have to sell my speed lite only softboxes.

Can you send me links to each specific item I would need to buy to get that to work for me?? I was a little confused reading what pieces I would need. I would hate to order something, then find out I need one more part. If I went your route, I would probebly end up using Wescott strips or PCB strips (as I like how they pop open easily like an umbrella) I appreciate your help KACEY, thanks alot

You just need a bracket of your choice. If your going to use really heavy boxes I recommend the grip style brackets. All the parts are on this page. http://www.kaceyenterprises.com/?page_id=461 (external link)
Bracket and softbox ring.

BTW- Buff boxes are not rod style boxes. They are much heavier and do come apart so they take a lot more space than a rod style box that can be packed into a flat case.
To use a Buff box with our system you need to replace the buff insert with a RedWing/Elinchrom insert then mate one of our brackets with our Eli Adapter.

I'm sorry to bother you, just want to make sure I have everything correct before I order. I just need to purchase either the single or the double brackett, and a softbox ring, and then I can use my Canon 580ex II speed lites with any brand box as long as it is a rodtype, and elinchron too if I purchase the Eli adpater??

That's correct. I recommend the grip style brackets for heavier large boxes.
