During a family shoot I took some of a friends daughter, she is very photogenic I think. Shot standing 15ft above her. 70-200 L IS

It could be your processing, or my monitor, but her face is blown out. Beautiful eyes, nice shallow DOF.

same here bright face, but my monitor is not color calibrated. I like the picture.

Her eyes have really popped in this photo. Excellent sharp focus for where it counts. Nevertheless, I do agree with first poster that the face seems a tad blown out, but other than that it is a great fun shot.
