Just thought I'd take the time to introduce myself to the board, although I confess I've been registered since the beginning of the year but have remained mute probably to prevent embarrassing myself
I've been taking pictures since early childhood and began with the cheapest no-name fixed focus 35mm you've ever seen and right now I use a Canon Ixus 500 coupled with an EOS 3000 and my two lenses.
I ordered a 20D on the weekend and just waiting for the bank transfer to go through sometime this week (damn slow banks holding my money!) before it gets shipped. I know I will be happy with it especially to remove myself from the frustration of the 'buy film->shoot film->get negs developed->scan negs into computer->edit them'.
