Its that time of the year.
Halloween is my favorite time of the year.
It inspires artists I think more so then any other holiday out there.

I mean costume design (for trick or treating or parties or going to the town of Halloween Salem Mass)
Acting (people acting out the character they dress up as)
Painting, Drawing, and other forms of art like that.

And inspires photographers like us to go out there try a more darker themed photography and take pictures of people in costume and other stuff we may never thought about before just to go with the theme of halloween.

So this thread is about anything to do with halloween. This thread fits best here since I am sure majority of the photos are gonna be Urban/Life & Travel related.
Take pictures store fronts with halloween setups, costumes you see, yards with elaborate halloween setups, haunted places, halloween parties. Everything to do with halloween

I goto salem MA for halloween every year and hoping to provide alot of good stuff thanks to you guys and gals inspiring me on this forum.

My favorite shot I ever took halloween related was with my old Sony H5 back in 07 so I will use that as a example to get everyone started.

Good thread idea. I also want to hear about what other photographers do for Halloween parties, etc. as photographers. Every year I get hired to do at least one Halloween party, usually the weekend before Halloween. I have a backdrop and usually a few props and set up a photo station at the party. It's very popular! Then, on Halloween night, my neighborhood is like a giant block party with the kids, candy, etc. Everyone is out in their yards or walking up and down the street. We have barricades blocking traffic (petitions signed so the city comes and does it). So I set up a photo area in my driveway with my backdrop, props, etc. I don't charge to shoot, but give my business card out that drives people to my site where they buy images off my site. It does OK, but it's a lot of fun to shoot!

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

That is splendid work!. No costumes needed for these photos. Pumpkin carving is Halloween tradition.
I hope people aren't confused by what I ment by subject. Can be anything Halloween related. No costumes nessesary. Could be trick or treating, costumes, Halloween yard setups, buisness's setup for the season. Anything at all that has to do with this wonderful holiday is fair game! So get out there and have some fun! :)

Heres another example of what I would like to see. Haunted places.
And don't just put up some random place and claim it to be haunted well unless it looks super spooky ;). Have some story behind it

Here is Gold Brook Covered Bridge on the maps. To locals its "Emily's Bridge".
It is the only haunted covered bridge in the world. It is located in Stowe Vermont.

(and no I didn't experience anything there this time :) )
