Do you think they're discounting it because a newer version is coming out? Lightroom gets an update every 3-4 months. It has been this way since the software was released. It also goes on sale for $150 3-4 times per year. This is nothing unusual. It was on sale for this price at Amazon just a couple of months ago. Mark-B

For my own company I can see an issue where I wont't have access to upgrade and what not through his or want to put it on a new computer so I just ordered it for my own business to have a copy licensed to myself. Great deal for sure! Canon gear

Great deal for sure! Well, going legit is always a good thing! And, if you do own a business, you can get into some serious trouble with non-legit software! So, good for you for making the right and smart decision there. Tony

I shoot for him and he has LR3 for use on multiple computers so he put it on his and mine. I just want mine in my own name for my own business. It isn't pirated software in case that was what you thought. It's late and I may not be explaining it correctly Canon gear
