I already have studio lighting (strobes, background, umbrellas, boxes, etc...); the problem is, it's cumbersome and irritating having to take it down, move it and then reset it up in the studio. I need something simple for on location (mainly indoor) stuff and I don't need strobes. This is what I'm looking for...
I have a 60D and I've really gotten to like the flash slaving feature. I have several Speedlites and would like to use those vs. strobes due to their ease and portability. I'm looking for 4 stands w/ umbrella soft box combination with the ability to use flashes (the IR sensor is open to view). If they also come with bulb lighting that would be OK, though I'd probably not use them much. Background's aren't nessessary. Must be light, fast to setup and take down.
I don't mind EBay stuff. I've had really good luck with some stands I got there four years ago. They've been dropped, tripped over and rained on and they've held up really well. On the other hand I also have had stands from B&H that cost three times more and they didn't hold up well at all (one had a screw that overtightened and no longer works right and another one now has a bent leg when a kid accidentally kicked it).
Any help would be great.
