My Grandmothers 106th Birthday

She can hardly hear; barly see, but at her age just taking a breath is more then most of us will ever be able to claim. Born October 3, 1905 we gather every year to wish her another year on earth.

Very cool indeed. She looks great. I have seen ladies 20 years younger who look 20 years older.

I have a 102 year old Great Grandfather. He still lives on his own in a 2 story apartment with no bathroom on ground floor. Think that is how they keep him moving.

That seems like a really bad idea.

Congratulations to her. That is fantastic and she does look great. I hope I will be so fortunate.

That's about the coolest picture I've looked at all week. Not every day you get to see living history. you are lucky to still have her, she looks like a very gracious lady.

Thank you for the kind comments, I believe that part of our duty wither it be professional or hobbyist is to try to preserve historical events.

We took several other shots on Sunday; I have since decided to get over to my Mom’s house in a couple of weeks after my niece gets back from Disneyland, so that we can get a 5-generation shot with Grandma. We took one on Sunday, however, I was not pleased in how it turned out.

Congrats! Very luck to have such a grandmother, she looks great! My birthday was Oct 3rd also!
