Not sure why but I always enjoy watching John Collver's routine at airshows. So here's my War Dog series taken on Sunday @ Miramar: C&C welcomed.

John's a wonderfully smooth stick. Nice, full, big, round routine. Always fun to watch and hear!

Excellent series Julian!

And thank you as well, Jay! Yeah, that must be it. Nice and smooth. So graceful through the air.

Indeed. Shame that the F-18 Super Hornet couldn't fly on Sunday but I still enjoyed the show. :D

Oftentimes, I'm wishing for a 200-800 autofocusing zoom that can be handheld. :D

This 200-800 you speak of also needs to be a 2.8. Leave you the IS to save on weight. :D:D

Looks like I'm going to have take some PED and hit the gym so I can lift a 200-800/2.8.

Not sure. They just announced it as a last minute notice/change, citing that the Super Hornet plane was experiencing some mechanical problems and they had to cancel that portion of the show.

But the F8F took to the skies as well as the other 2 planes from the Commemorative Air Force (The other Texan and the Zero) to perform some passes before the Blues.
