I wonder if there are any recognizable features that we can see (maybe some constellations),...) ...

To see the exif info of pictures from flickr you can click on the image, then go to Actions and choose View Exif Info.

Well, anyway, i guess it is easier if i post it here...
This photo was shot with my Canon 400D with the 18-55mm kit lens.
One single exposure of 38s, at 18mm, f/3.5 and ISO1600.
It was show it RAW and then PP in PS.

The exposure was made for the sky and the stars. In my first try the shed was completely black, kind of like a silhouette, so i decided to do some light painting, hence the blue lines of light on the left bottom corner (from the glow of my head torch)!

Question, how did you get the stars to not streak with a 38s exposure?

isn't it normal?
Well, anyway, here we cannot see it well because the photo os small, but if we zoom in in the fullres photo we can see that they actually do have little streaks.
I had the lens all the way at 18mm, i think that also helps to minimize a bit the streaks...

I am waiting so much for another clear night to go out and try some more night shooting. It was really lots of fun! ;)
