Hurry now, because Canon has just made alot of refurbs available (as of 6:30 Central Time), including the 70-200L MK II and 35L, both of which are almost NEVER in stock (especially the 35L). Here are just some of the many available

70-200L MKII $1999

85L $1759

24L $1399

50L $1295
http://shop.usa.canon.com …uct_10051_10051_275772_-1 (external link)

35L $1183

If you've ever bought a Canon refurb, you know that the lenses are basically new. You will not be able to tell them from new and you get a 90 day warranty with them. Also, if you have a American Express Rewards card, if you buy through www.bonuspointsmall.com (external link), Amex will give you 3x the points. They will redirect you to Canon's website, and you just have to pay with your amex card

I've been wanting the 70-200L MKII for some time, but just wasn't willing to pay full retail for it, so I've been watching the Refurb site diligently for last 3 months and it's never shown up (I have the refurb site set as my home page, so every time I open a browser it loads what is in stock). But imagine my surprise when today I open up my browser and not only see the 70-200L MKII, but the 35L as well ! In fact, most of the L lenses were in stock, which is a rarity these days (most of the time, only limited amounts were in stock)

How long have these 4 lenses been up there? You posted 33 minutes ago and the 35L is already gone :(

Good find but $2150 with tax. I can get it new for additional $100 considering $100 cash back. Good find though. It would have been a great deal with 15% off code they had a few weeks back. Still a good deal

Where are you finding the $100 cash back? To my knowledge, Canon hasn't ran any rebates on the 70-200L MKII ?

You can still get a 3% cashback with Mr Rebates on Canon Direct Store which adds up a good $60 off for a $2000 purchase.

If you have not signed up you can use this link:

With the killer sales tax in this state, the 70-200mm F4 IS is only $90 cheaper as a refurb. I'd rather pony up the extra $90 and get a new one with the full warranty. I wish they'd bring back the 15% discount and free shipping. I'm still mad at myself for missing that deal.

Wow a lot of love for the 35L I wish I had a case of them. I would discount them and from the looks of it they would sell like hot cakes. Can't have mine though :p

Naturally these become available now that I dropped the coin for the Sigma 70-200 OS; not regretting doing it as the lens is fantastic. But it's not up to the Mk II quality
