Just wondering, what sort of presentation do people prefer for photos? (I'm talking about large prints here, so albums, small frames, photo books, etc. are out).
Floating mounts, with the photo mounted on a thin substrate, which is then 'floated' 1-2cm in front of the wall (or in front of another backdrop), giving the illusion of the photo hanging in mid-air? Block-mounted prints, with the photo mounted on a thick piece of MDF or Gatorboard, edged to give a finishing touch, then hung flush against the wall? Or traditional frames (with or without glass)?
