I have a few questions about Zenfolio's features. I searched for these but couldn't find them and would really appreciate if someone could tell me whether they exist or not.
- Can you have the home page slide show collection change to the most recently added collection automatically?
- Can multiple collections be grouped together for this slideshow? I remember reading somewhere that you can, but when I tried it, it didn't work.
- When I share an album in the slideshow mode with someone, is there an option somewhere that lets me disable the image information overlay? It is ugly and I don't want it on by default. I didn't see it in the slide show options.
- Will the 'Unlimited' package from zenfolio let me keep the banner ('Manas Karekar Photography') as it is now or do I have to upgrade to the Premium for that? (The current one is a temporary placeholder til I come up with something nicer.)
- What about if I used custom pages to create a home page, does the restriction (if any) still hold then?
- Also about selling photos: I don't have to have the Premium plan if I plan to use my ZF account as a gallery for prospective clients right? I can just have them tell me what they like and just mail/CD them the photos right? Sounds like a dumb question, but I just want
to confirm before making any assumptions.
I am currently on their trial but I'm also playing around with Smugmug's trial, and afaik smugmug let's you do a lot more features for the $60(55)/yr plan as opposed to the $50/yr plan from ZF.
I like zenfolio a lot right now, so I'm just trying to figure out if I'll need to have the Premium account and see how happy smugmug makes me for $55/yr.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
