F2.5 or faster adaptable or native to EOS mount? Close focus and faster a bonus. Any suggestions?

Any particular reason you need those exactly focal lengths? A single 85mm prime wouldnt do?

75mm prime is an odd request. Tamron makes a 90mm macro prime. Very sharp, very good reviews.

I don't ever remember seeing a 75mm lens for 35mm..

I did have a 75mm for my Bronica ETRs though.

Zeiss Biotar 75 f/1.5. Famous for its spinning bokeh. Quite spendy....

Also Voightlander makes a 75 f/2.5: http://www.photozone.de …canon-review--test-report (external link)

The unnamed auction site has a few for sale now. Including a Zeiss Jena replica for $1,100... Tempting. : )

The now cult like Helios 40 (85mm, 1.5) exhibits a very similar swirl and typically runs in the neighborhood of $400 to $500...
