Ok, so I went a little bit crazy and bought a few lenses. :o
I need some advices on which lenses I should keep or get.

I like to take pics of landscapes, cars, portraits.

I want image quality and sharpness of the lenses. And definitely bokehlicious lenses as well! :D

Right now, I have:

Camera body:
Canon 40D (maybe upgrade to 7D later, but not full frame)

Lenses:
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
Canon 17-40L f/4
Canon 24-70L f/2.8
Canon 24-105L f/4
Canon 50 1.8 (not shown in pic)
Canon 28-135 (kit lens) (not shown in pic)

Here's what I'm leaning towards

1. EF-S 10-22 + 24-70L + 70-200L (future) + 50 1.4 + 35L (future)

2. Tokina 11-16 + EF-S 17-55 IS + 24-105L + 50 1.4 + 35L (future)

3. Tokina 11-16 + 24-70L + 70-200L (future) + 35L (future)

Any advices or suggestions? Thank you!

17-40L and 24-105 should go.
50 1.8 should go. 28-135 should go.

And go with Tokina 11-16 17-55 (Cause it's cheaper than 24-70L) 70-200 F2.8 IS MK ii and 35L.
If you have 35L , i doubt you would use your 50 1.4 anymore.

Keep the 11-16 and 24-70, sell the others. Get the Sigma 50mm and 85mm for portraits. If you see a need for a 70-200, get the Sigma 70-200mm OS HSM f2.8.

lose the 28-135 and 24-105 and 17-40 unless you really shoot past 70mm very often. then sell 24-70

me I would keep the 10-22 landscape the 24-70 portrait and the 70-200 for everything else but since that is a future lens I would keep the 24-105 till I had the 70-200 if that makes sense lol good luck

Why do you have the 17-40, 24-70, 24-105, AND 28-135?

Personally, I'd go with option 1 but replace the 35L with sigma 30 1.4 since you save a wad of cash, and don't lose much IQ at all, and the canon 50 1.4 (I'm assuming you mean the canon when you say 50 1.4) with the sigma 50 1.4 because its just better.

If you prefer option 2, then I'd ditch the canon 17-55 for a sigma 17-50, because again you save a wad of cash, and don't lose IQ.

Consider the below after selling all the other lenses:

Tokina 11-16/f2.8
Sigma 30/f1.4
Sigma 17-50/f2.8 OS HSM
Canon 70-200/f2.8 MKII IS USM

Regards whatever your decision, ;)

Personally I'd go with:

Canon 10-22 (best UWA image quality) or 12-24/4 Tokina (cheaper plus wider range of focal lengths than the 11-16, don't need f2.8 on an UWA)
24-70 (do need/want f2.8 on a standard zoom)
70-200mm (with IS, but choose from f4 or f2.8 depending upon how large a lens you want to carry around and what you'll be shooting with it typically, not to mention the big price difference)

An alternative zoom line-up is:

11-16/2.8
17-55/2.8
70-200mm

I'd probably keep the 28-135 as a backup/walkaround lens, too. It's been selling for $200 or less locally lately, so doing that wouldn't be tying up a lot of money.

That simpler zoom lineup might leave more budget toward primes, in particular:

28/1.8 or Siggy 30/1.4 (no need to spend the add'l $s for the 35L, for use on a cropper)
50/1.4 (Canon or Siggy)
85/1.8 (Canon) or 85/1.4 (Siggy)

Look for bokeh with the primes, not the zooms. Look for convenience and versatility with the zooms.

I'd keep the 17-40, 24-70 and the 50. Pick up one of the 70-200's.

Keep the 17-40, sell everything else, then get a 5D2 (better for your intended subjects), 50 f1.4 and 70-200
