Has anyone used M-Rock bags? Are they good quality? Do they hold up? They seem on the low price end, so I wonder how well they are put together, overall quality, etc.

Any comments appreciated.

Here is my current gear:
Rebel T2i, EF-S 18-55 IS, EF-S 55-250 IS

Here are things I'm pretty certain I'll get in the near future:
EF-S 10-22 USM, extra battery, lens hoods for all lenses

Other stuff that always goes along:
Canon battery charger & cord, lens tissues, brush, extra memory card

Possibilities for future: Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM, battery grip

Now, me, I just put it all in my original Domke bag that I've had for 25 years.

However, when my wife takes the camera out, she doesn't want to haul the whole kit along, but when we go on trips, we need to have it all with us. So I was looking for a modular bag arrangement so everything would be protected during travel, etc., but we wouldn't have to shuffle things around to add or subtract what leaves the car, hotel room, etc.

I did a web search for "modular camera bags" and the M-Rock product line popped up (external link). It looks pretty slick for what I'd want. A main bag that could hold the T2i with the kit lens, plus the lens tissue, brush, hood. Then a couple of the add-on bags for the other lenses and additional stuff.

I have one of their older bags. I forget what model it was, but it was similar in size to the everglade. Probably bigger than you want. The bags are well thought out and the constuction was pretty decent too. I would put them close to the quality level you would see in a lowepro or tamrack. I haven't used it for a while as I primarily use a crumpler that is a bit smaller these days now that I don't drag so much gear around with me.

I have an M-Rock Olympic. I needed a bag smaller than my lowepro 200 and went out to buy another lowepro slingshot 100. I saw the small backpack while looking for the 100 (the store didn't have one so I was going to another store to by one) and it caught my eye. I bought the bag and I am really happy with it. I wanted a bag that didn't look so much like a camera bag that could fit my gear when I wanted to go around town. I put a 5dii (it fits but barely) 24-105, 17-40, 50 1.4, 430 flash and a few accessories. With this setup I can't carry lens hoods, but if I leave the 50 1.4 or flash out, I can carry the lens hoods.

I have or had three lowepro bags (slingshsot 100, 200, computrekker) and the build quality is pretty close, with a slight edge to lowepro, but I would consider buying another M-Rock bag again.

I have the MRock Arches hybrid backpack/slingbag. Seems well-made, some thoughtful design features, not quite as bombproof as my ThinkTank bags. A couple minor things -- zipperpulls, elastic bands on bottom -- didn't last too long, but minor and easy to fix up. The bag and dividers seem very durable and reliable. My only real complaint is that the rain cover is terribly designed and basically useless. Overall I'm definitely pleased with the bag's design and construction.

Lol I took out the rain cover for the first time after I read this post, and it it awful. Mine us just a bag and a drawstring. Might as well have a plastic garbage bag, but I will say that this bag looks a bit better than a garbage bag.
