ITT: we share photos taken on this lowly kit lens! I bought one for 50 bones as a backup while my 24-105L is at the factory getting repaired and on my 5d I am impressed! Not an L-series but for what it is, not too bad at all. I was quite surprised for a kit lens. My version came with a Rebel Ti and I bought it from a pawnshop, which is cool because I have a Rebel Ti.
There were many versions of this lens, including a USM version which came with the EOS Elan 7e 35mm film camera from 2000.
