I was checking the boundaries of my relatively new 70-200 f.4 with out the IS.
Shot hand-held and later cropped...these came pretty OK, I was expecting the worst.
What do you think?

Mighty short lens for surf photography and I'd say you absolutely made the most of it. I'd consider cloning the crap out of #4 to make it a solo shot of the guy ripping then lift the shadows on him just a bit. Scott Evans Photography
