These are beautiful flowers, but it is hard to figure out how to photograph them in an interesting way. Here are two tries from yesterday. 50D, EF 100mm macro, stacked in Zerene (DMap), natural backlighting.

I like these.

The texture of flowers at high mag looks like they are made of silk.

Thanks. Some flowers, like these and some tulips, are very interesting when back-lit
