Covered Bridge

Shot this with the 17-40L, which is quickly becoming my favorite lens

Anyway, I have shot this local bridge a hundred times but have never been happy with anything enough to actually have a wall-hanger made, but today the clouds were perfect and I gave it another try, I was really pleased with the fall colors and processed this one with more saturation than I usually do (Tone mapped 3 exposure) I want to have this one printed on canvas and hang it but I'm wondering if I went a bit too rich on the colors?

I love the "Pop" this photo puts off but just would like some other opinions.

I really like it, great job. I guess the only thing I might look at is a slight crop on the left, these's kind of a dark cave there.

Colours are great - I don't think they're overdone at all.

2 minor nitpicks;

1. The bare branches in the top right hand corner add nothing to the image...I try to resist the temptation to clone out every little annoyance but in this case I'd probably give it a go (at least to see how it looks).
   
2. I'd love to see how the image would look if the front of the structure (where the writing is) was brightened up just a tad. It's tough that it's adjacent to the brightly lit side.

I am not sure what program you use to process, but I would up the clarity, the vibrance and the exposure a tad. It seems a little dull on my screen. This will add a little more pop and the colors will shine. Also the covered bridge will benefit from it as well.

Ok, thanks for the feedback everyone. I had another shot of the bridge a little bit closer and that took care of the branch and dark spot.

What do you guys think of this edit for print? I ditched the tone-mapped 3 image blended exposure and just adjusted a single exposure, that took care of the ghosting issues with the brush and trees.

I like the edit better but only because of the sky colour change (too dark though) and the adjustment made to the trees. I don't agree however that it was necessary to crop out the nice tress - I would keep it all as originally posted but do a levels or curves adjustment and some selective dodging in the dark areas to bring them out - your edit is fine or as a close alternative:
