Of course, as we all do.
But, on this forum, POTN'ers love HEARING positive feedback, and GIVING negative feedback. Not the other way around. I suppose "giving negative feedback", if done the correct way, is teaching; passing the torch; sharing with others, your knowledge. If a POTN'er can't do that because the photos are well done, they don;t comment.

Well I guess I will just keep this as my showcase thread and wait to take a bad picture to get some feed back =P

Thanks man, some of the horizons could use a little more work but some are just the angle of the boards, if you look at it in photoshop the lines are straight and so is the ice, but they perceive an unlevel look. I will be posting more soon as it looks like I got credentials =]

There are quite a few of Cam ward in my flickr if you care to look:

Wicked! Checkin' them out right now. How the blazes did you get credentials? Do you actually work in the media? People always give me a weird look with my "radio" pass, and I have my camera gear. LOL! But, the CHL fired me off a photo pass yesterday. Radio guy? Photo guy? BOTH!!

P.S.!! when the Leafs / Devils come to town, I would Looooove a nice print of Gustavsson / Reimer / Brodeur. Not all in the same shot, as that would be APOCALYPTIC!!!

...Stellar!!!

Also, some of those grad shots you have are really really good. Love the ones where you can see Old Glory. Very 'heart of America'. Being a Maritime Canadian, I don't see that a lot...except for Maine...which is really New Brunwick, the sequel...

It's all about who you know and I have been lucky enough to go through the director of marketing and get in touch with the team photographer, who is going to credential me. At 19 I think I am gonna go ahead and say I am very lucky to be getting this opportunity.

Thanks man always appreciate good comments and that picture was especially important to Tremayne as he plans to run (and my guess is will be very successful) for President one day, he wanted to show his patriotism and I thought what a better way then to have one with the flag!

Super clear shots and you have really nailed the focus on these. Apparently the 60D is no slouch for sports (in the right hands obviously :) )

I completely agree and one reason why I love this camera, coming from an XS it missed everything! So many missed shots with that camera just because the focus was awful.

Thanks for the compliments!

I'm using a 30D, and I think that now...I have even outgrown that. Missed focus, back focus CRAP focus drives me batty. I came close to throwing my damn camera onto the ice from the second deck one night. FRACK!

sec...I'll show you an example (if you don't mind, of course..)

..I hope you don't... :)

Anyway..here's this one...alright focus, happy Marc, smiles all around! Huzzah!

This one however...^%(W*Y$$*#()!!!!! Great shot...DAMN THE BLUR BACKFOCUS! What in blazes am I doing wrong here. Same technique as any other shot from that angle in the rink, centre spot focus, AF AI Servo (One Shot is worse). THIS makes me want to jump on the ice, and Pete Townshend my camera on the faceoff dot. Using 30D w/ 70-200mm L f/2.8 non IS

Are you using your centerpoint as your focus point? AI Servo? Are you back button focusing or using the shutter?

I get some soft shots like that when using Servo if I have the back button pressed because it seems to hunt around when I am not tracking a subject and sometime that throws it off. We'll see how it turns out November 1st as I have my first chance to finally shoot the Hurricanes through a hole!
