Here are some shots from my first real newborn photo session - the adorable Spencer at 10 days. He's especially cute, because he is mine and our first. :)

It was a lot of work, and I had a few technical difficulties, but he was pretty good throughout.

Any thoughts on poses, lighting and processing would be appreciated.

I like 3 the best. I would brighten it up a little bit and work on the skin. I think that would have been better if the camera had been more at his level rather than above.

Love, love, love #1. The lighting is perfect. Colors look great. I don't especially care for the black and white, a little harsh. #4 is very sweet. Beautiful cupid's bow lips. I know you are so proud. He's darling.

So cute. I love #3 - he looks snug as a bug in a rug!

I like 1. LOVE the cocoons. =) I like being able to see his hands. He looks bigger than he is in number 3. The appeal of nb pics is them looking tiny.

Thanks for the comments.

Any other input on the PP?

I'm going to try and get a few more different poses before he gets "too big".
