So I'm doing a senior shoot this weekend and they suggested a park by them I'd not been to. So I wanted to check it out before getting there with a client so I took the wife and boys out on a semi-rainy Sunday. Here are some shots I caught while I was there:

The last one I'm posting turns out to be one everyone (who's seen it) seems to love. I was just messing around on this one having my younger son look through at me (I was about 20ish yards away shooting with my 70-200). I'd like to see more light on the wood and would have had him remove his visor but people seem to like it. Maybe I'll have to try for a better shot next time.

Good catch. I always push it on my exposure on my subject(s). Unfortunately, sometimes I push it too much. :(

But we had fun. Looking forward to the shoot this weekend.

Nice job! I wouldn't worry about blown highlights there.. I didn't open it in PS, but they don't look blown to me (at least in the first photo), just pushed right to the edge.. well into the 250's I'm sure, but it's acceptable in my book.

I really like the set..! Love #3, great idea.. Thanks for not focusing on the tree in #1, you'd be surprised how often I see that.. :)

As long as I get good shots I'll post them. ;)

Thanks. I do like to push it when I can. :)

I've also seen lots of photos like that one focused on the tree. It annoys me, too. :D
