Go for it, just let clients know in order to keep cost's as low as possible you work out of both your 'Home Studio" and on location.

Aug 22, 2019 15:45 | #39 It's been eleven years since I started this tread. I wanted to check in and tell you how it's worked out. As far as clients go, I haven't had any complaints or seen any evidence of reservation when anyone enters the studio. I attribute this to the cleanliness and isolation of non essential areas, like the laundry area, with black curtains. Also even though I know it's not ideal, I never apologize or bring attention to that fact. Steve Ruddy Photography

sirquack Goldmember More info | Thanks for the update. We are just beginning to develop a plan for our second home on 15 acres in the southern portion of our residence state. We have a house planned, a horse barn and an outbuilding which will include a nice little area for photography. I was initially concerned about having a space on our property instead of in town. But in talking with people I have found most would rather travel the 15 minutes to a private location with multiple options rather than just one simple studio in town. Name is Ron.

sirquack Goldmember More info | That is definitely in the plan. I have outdoor trails, drop offs and a small creek at the back of the property. I hope to create a small bridge across the creek, a pergula or gazebo would be nice, but will not be something right away. With the trails and woods and open land I have so many options and not sure what I want to do eventually. I saw at a local sunflower field last weekend and really loved that. Might have to plant some area with sunflowers, but they only bloom for such a short period of time, I am not sure it would be worth it. Name is Ron.
