Here's a shot I took of our newborn son the other day. Did some curve adjustments along with some cloning/healing and dodge/burn. My laptop display isn't that great so any comments and critique on the PP is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows if it's possible to use Adjustment Brushes in LR3 to reduce specific color levels, would you please let me know how? I had to use the clone/heal tool to remove red patches on the skin, but there should be an easier/better way.

Use a saturation brush. You can set it to how much saturation you want then paint over whatever you want to be less saturated. Other than that,go to the HSL tab and you can drag specific colors higher or lower,ie hue/saturation/luminan​ce.

My only critique is that the skin tone is quite red.
