From Taxi Driver, that classic 1976 De Niro movie, "You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me?"

This preying mantis seems to have that same attitude. He's one of the biggest mantises I've ever seen - about four inches long. And I'm sure he's death to nearly any other insect. Maybe to small mice as well.

Shot with a 7D in bright sunshine, 100-400mmL lens at 400mm, 1/500 f/7.1, ISO 200. Distance 2 m. C&C always welcomed.
