CC Away...i think I can do a better job of the selection masking ...ill work on that...

The post work looks great.

But the overall look is more of a poster than a sports card. It needs to have a "sports card" type border with a team name or logo, and then the player name and number incorporated into the border.

Then if you do a series, they all have a team look.

All great points, and I do plan on doing it....still learning though...crash coursing in photoshop aint the easiest of task :p

while i agree i think that the team logo/name/number etc could be PS onto the shirt in the background with the shame PP effects this way it fits alot more, wont detract from the image(s) itself too much and will have the suttle but stiking effect of knowing who it is, what team etc.

with a border i feel it could be destracting and tacky if not done the the upmost care and attention as something so simple does demand.


try both imo. if you get the border right i think it would look great but borders imo look a little over-used, there's a number of things that can be done instead of a border.

What software is this? I would like to do something like that.

its Adobe Photoshop (version CS5 i would imageine) though that effect easier with the cutting out with CS5 it can be done with any version of PS.
