Set out to capture the progression of fall colors, but the sky got in the way. Yes, it was that pink :)

An hour later, the pink sky was gone ...

Fabulous. It is beautiful up there, my wife and I loved it when we visited in April and seeing these just makes me want to head back.

Thanks for the comments. Hoping the rain we're getting will bring out the fall colors without knocking too many leaves off the trees.

Yes - the first one does look wild. I should have noted that I used no colored filters, and actually tried to tone down the pink in the sky a bit. It was intense, but only for a short moment.
