First B&W Converstion

I liked this photo and though I'd try to make a nice B&W let me know what you think!

It is a nice picture. I like dog position

What was your method and what software?

I used lightroom and set it to B&W then just moved the contrast, vignetting and other random sliders around. Then just used unsharp mask in Photoshop to sharpem. I really don't know much about editing photos but I try not to overdue it. I hope this helped.

Yes it does, I find it much easier to use than Photoshop. I still struggle with getting photos to look the way I want at times. I really try to get it mostly done on the camera first so I don't have to spend very long editing. I've tried both smart sharpen and USM but had trouble to tell the difference. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.
