Very nice collection. Number 1 is my favorite. I love the DOF that can be seen on the grass. Your subject is REALY the center of our attention. In this version, I feel that the rule of thirds should not apply. Good job.


Canon 5D MkIII powered through the following Canon lenses: 16-35 f2.8 L MkII, 24-70 f2.8 L MkII, 70-200 f2.8 L MkII, 17mm TS-E f4 L, 24mm TS-E f2.8 L MkII and 85mm f1.2 L MkII.

I disagree with both above... I would much prefer one to have a tighter crop. I think if you lost most of the river to her front and a large portion of the field behind her and corresponding sky/foreground the shot would have a lot more impact. I like it, but I might love it with a different crop. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jeo. It was a composite of 26 shots to get the shallow DOF. I was actually playing with it to get a different feel.

Thanks Michael, really appreciated your feedback. I agree that a different crop/tighter could make it stronger but I was doing a Brenizer method :) ...
