Being involved in radiology as well as photography, I get to see a fair bit of new display technology.

Imagine one these as a monitor for a Photoshop workstation: http://radiforce.com/en/products/col-rx840.html (external link) (8 megapixel monitor - same company as Eizo)

combined with one of these as a 'mousepad': http://www.wacom.asia/cintiq24hd (external link) (24-inch Wacom touchscreen, which can display the same thing as the review monitor)

Pricey, but worth it?

Can only imagine what that monitor costs. Pretty cool though.

Maybe still the rx-430, since the 840 is about 37" display and it really wouldn't be practical for image editing at normal distances.

I couldn't even find "retail" prices for the monitors, so it's safe to say these monitors are probably out of reach for most of us. Would be cool though...

I'm finding out the price through work - can justify it as a dual-use monitor, for both looking at X-rays and processing photos!
