Manfrotto Neotech Monopods

Anybody using the 684 or 685 Neotech monopod from Manfrotto? If so, would be interested to hear what you think.

I have the 685B, and I've been verry happy with it so far. The ability to so quickly change elevation was a real plus for me, just pull. To go down, squeese the pistol grip.

My only nit it is they should build it with more sections. I'm 6'1 and the monopod+20d w/grip is too tall to use while sitting on the ground. So you have to kneel.

Ok one more nit- the "just pull" is the reason I bought it- but it can work against you when you are trying to grab it in a pile of stuff, it will always extend.
