i got way more keepers than i think i have ever had in both games. the day game had more keepers than the night game of course. but all together i have about 100 including a few that was a presentation between the games.

girls game went through 2 halves of OT and score ended at 0-0. mens game was close most of the game tied at 1-1 but my team lost in the last 5-7 minutes

overall, i feel pretty good about the shots i got. here are just a few that i like that have some nice action in them i think

The composition is good but the colors and clarity seem to be lacking a little. What was the shutter speed?

it varied between night and day of course but i think the fastest was probably 1/1000 and slowest was 1/500

so after looking on a few other monitors i see the lack of colors and the day time ones look very cool especially #4. i dont ever touch color in PP because i dont have a good monitor to review it on and im not 100% familiar with adjusting color with the graphs/histograms.

i am starting to think my WB was slightly off as i tried to set it between 6500K for the hard sun and about 7000K for the shade from the players. i dont remember the exact number i used :(

ill have to check my metadata/exif but is what i said possibly the reason for my shots being a little cool and lacking in color. im not skilled enough to fix the colors but i would like to learn as editing photos as well as video is not my skillset but im learning at work and also through my photos :D

also any extra C&C is greatly appreciated

Tough lighting conditions - harsh daytime and of course night is always tough. I like #3 quite a bit... well exposed and composed. Which focus option are you using on your 7D?

i shoot in servo with single center focus and when in vertical i have it move to one above center and switch back to center for horizontal.

in the custom functions i have the Servo focus speed set to one setting under standard. everything else is left at default i think. ill have to check my camera
