I happened to be on fall break this week and it was my sister's homecoming, so I figured I might as well have fun with the new 5D and get some shots in. By the way, I love my Sigmalux. So much.

I think the shots have potential but I am not sure about your cropping choices (personally). Also, in photo 2, the sky is way too over exposed. If you stopped down, and used more fill I think the shot would have been a lot better.

You got some cute & playful shots; I agree that the sky in #2 is little too blow out & need a little PS; watch your backgrounds in park & the wrinkles in the clothing mostly the guys suits, crop out objects along the edges that draw the eye - #6 the sidewalk a long top edge

Some cute shots, but your watermark is WAY too distracting! It is 20% of some of the photos.

No bragging list - I just rent whatever the job requires.

I was going for the dreamy look, and there wasn't really anything in the sky that was worth seeing. As far as cropping goes, I'll take a look at it.

Some of the backgrounds were hard to work with; there were way, way more people at the park than I was expecting and they had drained the lake the day before, which made it even harder.

It's kind of hard to work with the watermark in zenfolio; I've found that if I make the file smaller the watermark ends up being tiny on uncropped photos, and I'd rather have too big than too small.

If you're talking about #4, I totally get it, that was just a fun shot but it ended up looking really good.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Very good color balance on these. Photo 1, everyone seems to be leaning to the right so consider rotating it slightly. Photo 1 and 3 I suggest getting closer to the people, it's not always a requirement to show people from head to toe. These photos would have a bigger "impact" if the people filled the frame more.

What's a sigmalux? Never heard of that before.

Thanks! It's the Sigma 50mm f/1.4. And on #3 I was trying to get some of the colors of the trees in the background.
