A search of this forum revealed only very old threads with basically no information.

And I'm only finding a couple of options at B&H, Adorama, and Amazon with a google search.

So I'm wondering if anyone here has any first-hand experience to make recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

I have one of the Adorama posing chairs with the armrest and it does what I need it for. It has a hydraulic cylinder to adjust the chair height and it doesn't "creep" with me sitting on it. it is flat black in color except for the armrest support and the lift cyl. The price is reasonable enough I bought one for me and one for my daughter as well.

@HelenOster - the link's not working. I searched the Adorama site and found items similar to those at B&H.

@Joe R - the arm rest is removable?

@RPCrowe - can't view ebay at work... Will check that one out later.

@Kirill - definitely looking for something that can be configured to have no arm rests, so that one's out. Also, flat black is an advantage for blending in, I would think...

The armrest is removeable but it requires a large phillips screwdriver to accomplish.

There are 19 stools & 7 tables here - http://www.adorama.com …ool&category=0&numrecs=50 (external link)

Is there something you've seen anywhere else that we can try to get in for you?

Thanks again, Helen. I'm just saying the options available look very similar, so I was hoping for good hands-on opinions to try and differentiate between those I've seen.
