My favourite is the last one, it is very pleasing and relaxing on the eyes.
I would have maybe had the groyne a little lower in the frame and made a wee bit more of the moving clouds above.
Were you using a filter by any chance????
I am planning a bit of a shoot through in the Edinburgh region at some point soon (next few months), and had planned on getting a few "over the city" shots at dusk shooting East to West. Also planning some at Roslin as well as my late Gran stayed there for many years and I visited lots when I was a nipper. Will be good to get some nice pics there as well.
I will let you know how they all go.

Indeed, I used a BW ND110 10-stop, and a Hoya CPL. Exposure time was 90 seconds.

Enjoy your trip here, it's certainly a beautiful city!

Kenny, I am envious of your photographic skills AND your location! Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you've captured it wonderfully in your sets.

Incidentally, I too reside on Raleigh. PLMK if you need anything from the home town and I'll do my dayumndest to send it along toyas!

Many thanks for those kind words - truth is, Edinburgh is just easy to photograph. :)

Thank you for the offer! Unfortunately the only thing out of my grasp is my family and Bojangles, neither of which have proved to travel very well!

I love the first one, reminds me of an old postcard. You did a great job of capturing the city. I fell in love when I was there in 2008.

Awesome sets! Brought back some great memories of living there. I can even see my old place near the meadows

Ken, I know what you mean about Bojangles. All I need do is think about "Bo-Rounds" and I'm searching for my wallet and car keys! :p

Enjoy your time there, and keep the pics of your travels thru the British Isles coming!
