A few images from KSU's soccer team. The first image was shot with my rebel and 10-22 mounted to the goal with wireless triggers. All the others were shot with the 7d and 100-400. C&C welcome

I like the idea in shot #1. Can you tell me how/where you mounted your camera? I want to try the same thing with my son's team and my 50D, but am just a bit worried about it getting damaged. The color in that shot is great. Too bad, as the other fellow said, there was no ball action there. I think that's uncalled for. I don''t see how that relates to photography? Canonswhitelensesrule wrote in post #13264039 Yeah it was. What...my OPINION isn't allowed? Or are we just supposed to post nice, sweet, CASPER the Friendly Ghost like, comments? And what, some of those players are NOT big? You don't have to say anything nice about the photos. These are athletes not models. If this was spray & pray was there a better in the series? #3 kicking a ball...meh #4 OK, crop out all the dead space, acceptable b/g except for the girl sitting by herself #5 chasing a ball...meh #6 yahoo, a battle! boo backlit, soft... what are the guys at the table doing so close to the field? crop them out! #7 Again, was this part of a string of shots? maybe there is one earlier in the sequence. Why did you stand up for this one? looks like any one of a number of parents' P&S post on FB. see how the perspective on #6 looks more professional? Thanks for all the pointers tshred wrote in post #13266978 I like the idea in shot #1. Can you tell me how/where you mounted your camera? Too bad, as the other fellow said, there was no ball action there. I don't have a setup shot but I just used a super clamp with a magic arm attached and clamped it to the bottom of the goal. The bottom of the goal is flat so its easy to get a good connection. It was triggered with some cheap wireless trigger from B&H (which works really well for $30). I wasn't worried about it getting damaged because the net is to tight to allow the ball to come back that far. Andrew Walker

Most of them won't allow anything to be attached. Kevin

Yes, I always ask before putting any equipment in the field of play. I extended the arm as far back as it would go so it really wasn't close. Andrew Walker

Sometimes the TRUTH is NOT P.C. People just need to lighten up!! SHEESH!! But don't worry, from now on I'll ONLY post, NICE, COMPLIMENTARY, SWEET, SYRUPY, A$$ KISSING, WUSSYLIKE, comments. dude, how did i know you were going to trot out that pc crap? here's the truth for you: women are not big enough to play in the nfl, and even if they were, none of the athletes in these pictures would be big enough or fast enough to play linebacker in the nfl. your comment was tasteless and stupid, a cowardly-imus-like insult against people who are not even present to defend themselves. in case you don't know, women never enjoy being referred to as big, especially when they aren't (you are the only one who was thinking that these women were bigger than normal women, not anybody else) and i have a feeling that if any of the girls pictured above heard you say what you said, you'd be running for your life. that's not an argument for or against being pc, that's simply the truth of the matter.
