Took another trip up North (for me) to see how the leaves are doing.

Along Route 7 in western Vermont.

The color was very nice today. There's supposed to be a storm moving in on Wednesday so I don't know if the leaves will survive.

Route 7 has some great pastoral scenes.
2 and 4 are tops for me.
Thanks.

Very nice. #2 for me as well. I got to head up north sometimes. Connecticut just doesn't have the landscape other NE states have.

Thanks for the comments, it was agreat trip.

TTrang I saw your CT pics and they were very nice. A couple places I need to go to if this storm doesn't remove all the leaves.

#2 and #3 taken from the same spot. 2 with the 70-200 L at 200mm.

Hey Yowzer , I notice you use LR , Which profile do you use on your landscape for leaves, Adobe Standard or the Canon landscape profile ?
Thanks

Littlefield
My basic work flow is to bring the RAW files into DPP with default settings and camera set to Neutral. I then batch export to TIF's that I bring into LR3. I then work Clarity, Saturation, Vibrance, Brightness, Contrast with a small amount of Blacks slider about 5. I will then use Fill Light and or Recovery as needed. I haven't gotten around to learning curves yet. Been to busy shooting. I also haven't had the time to learn Perfect Layers for LR from onOneSoftware yet. Any way I hope that answers your question.

Oh, okay then you don't use the presets that are brought down under calibration where the picture setting in LR for Camera Matching profiles first is Adobe standard followed by Camera faithful ,Camera landscape .
Thanks for responding back to me.

Beautiful shots. Reminds me of my youth. You don't see much color like that in Southern Arizona.

Very nice. Love your comps and color. I was in that area for autumn about five years ago, really enjoyed it.
