I would have to sell all of my 3 bodies and then probably come up short...

The price is not a suprise. It is the new flagship professional model. Those who require it, will buy it. I would say 80%+ of us here do not require such a body. But it is amazing for those who do, or can afford it.

I just hope the new 5D3 shares many of these features. Including the lack of new MP for higher ISO performance. I mean, native 51K ISO? Awesome. I would be all over that. I bet H1 still looks decent as well, at 102K... Amazing.

Way to go Canon... All I can say.

This is the first Canon camera I am actually excited about. If I didn't need 2 bodies I would sell both my 5DII's and pony up the difference in cash.

I expect the 5DIII will be using the same sensor. 2 x 5DIII will be doable.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.
