Hey,
I hope, this is the right subboard. I just started to built my own website. On that site I want to present my pictures. All went very smoothie. The only thing is, that my sit should have an member-area.

E.g. I want guests to see only the public parts of my site. The logged n users should have the ability, to see all public content (sites and galleries), but I want them to have galleries for them.
Let's say, i am on a family event and takes some pictures. Now everyone in the family should have an account and should be in the group "family". For them i upload a Gallery, so only they can see it.
And there should be another group called "office" so everyone, who had been at the last event with the company, shoult the there galleries. These groups should not see the gallerys of other groups, if I don't give them the permission in the dashboard.

The question now is, how can I configure s2member, to do that?

Please give me some help. There will be some other questions comming, but that's it for now. That's my main problem, the others are just styling and some text or gallerys.

Thanks and regards

Winam

I know, it's realy presentation, but it's a part of building a portfolio, which will lead to the presentation

I am not aware of any user group permissions for galleries in a Wordpress environment.
If you wish to have group permissions for certain galleries, you may
want to consider something other than Wordpress.

One that I have used in the past is Piwigo. It has various options and you can
set permissions for each group. (you can also create your own groups)

Joomla might be worth a quick look too.

They have extensive user group settings etc.

I'm hardly an expert, having struggled with building my own site in Wordpress, just wondering if you're using a template, as some of those offer pretty good support.
