This was an inner County rivalry game last night between the Jefferson Cougars and Washington Patriots . Patriots pulled off the win in this last regular season game 4-2. A little bitter sweet for me since I'm alumni of Jefferson, but my son plays for Washington. The game started at 5pm and went from bright sunshine to dusk to dark and under the lights. I missed a ton of shots but was able to get a few that I'm happy with. Most of these guys from both teams play together in local clubs, so it's one of the cleaner games to watch. I shoot the Sigma 70-200 non OS and have found that it will sometimes front focus even though I clearly have my center point correctly positioned. A little infuriating when I miss the shot because the lens decided to focus incorrectly. Here's a few that I was happy with.

Looks to me like you're doing pretty well using a Rebel and the Sigma for sports. I really like the 3rd one.

Thanks! I picked up the Rebel about a year ago specifically to shoot my son's soccer games and have really liked it so far. I'm hoping to upgrade to a 7D next year and perhaps the Canon 70-200. I'm still fairly new to all of this, but this forum has been a huge help for me.
