Huh? Thunderbird SEVEN? Where did that come from?

I'm currently using TB 3.1.15 and have been ignoring upgrade suggestions to TB 4.

Now it's version 7.0.1 they're pushing.

Anyone know anything about this? Worth upgrading? Problems?

I stay up to date, just to get security improvements. Functionality wise nothing much has changed in Thunderbird for years.

I think they skipped a few numbers to get back on track with FF or because "Thunderbird is based on the new Mozilla Gecko 7 engine"…

There's nothing in between 3.1.15 and 7

I'm on 7.0.1 now. I love the program and it just updates automatically. Pretty much the same program.
