I was part of the wedding party, so I obviously wasn't the primary photographer, but I did seize the opportunity to take over 500 pictures that day. It was the most fun that I'd had in a long time and I'm curious to hear some ways that I can improve my photos, other than buying a 5D and 70-200 2.8L IS :)

All photos were taken using a Canon T2i, 10-20 Sigma lens, and 430EX flash.

agree with the WB is off in some of them, but not hard to sort out in post..same with cropping etc..!

Good start tho, weddings are tricky and it all comes with practice!

Buying a 5D and L glass wouldnt improve your shots either ;)..its you not the cam that makes it! Keep at it! :)

Thanks for the comments!

What is the best way to sort out the white balance if I don't set up the custom WB before taking the pictures? Using the dropper in the PS RAW section?

Are you saying to "eyeball" it or do you use the WB dropper to find something that should be white and click that?

I appreciate the advice Bryan!

I have noticed that I do tend to "yellow" the photos a bit and I will admit it's a weak area I can improve in.

Big thanks to everyone pointing out the WB issue to me. It's something that I've never been comfortable messing around with so I've always left it as is. I now know that it's easily fixable and in most cases not correct as is.
